Collected the motorcycle from Martin in Kinsale two days ago.
Went on a cruise into Cork to do some shopping and the battery died completely. Had to take a taxi to the Honda Dealer to buy a new one and fitted it at a service station.
Took off this morning on a 200km run from Kinsale to Rosslare harbour. The roads are lined with bright yellow flowering gorse bushes.
Weather was alternatively sunny and cloudy about 15 degrees and thankfully dry. Stopped at a pub for a coffee and a bowl of soup.
Inside was a cozy room with a blazing fire. The walls were lined with photos and documents relating to the 1926 uprising against the English.
Tomorrow's plan is to catch the 0845 ferry to Wales and ride to Salisbury.
