Europe on a Virago Days 70 to 74 Hjorring, Denmark

Cold and rainy as I caught the early morning ferry back to the mainland at Oscarshamn, Jumped on the freeway west through the endless forests until the rain got too much and I stopped at Jonkoping.
Next day made it across to Goteborg and the 4pm ferry to Frederikshavn in Denmark, arriving at 7:30pm.
The day before Denmark's national day so the shops were open until 11pm and the streets were crowded with people enjoying the festive atmosphere.
A short 30 kilometer run the next day got me to the youth hostel at Hjorring
Spent two days here waiting for the rain to stop.
Hjorring is a small city in the north of Denmark best known for the annual football tournament.
The centre has some very pleasant pedestrian streets with lots of public art.
